The Pool Program requires a specific setting for the Day/Date Format in order to print properly. For Windows 95 and 98 operating systems:
With no other applications open, from your Desktop window, left click once on Start in the Start Menu. Bring your mouse cursor up to Settings, and then over to Control Panel. From Control Panel select Regional Settings. When the Regional Settings Window opens, left click with your mouse on the Date tab along the top of the window. Come down approximately 60% of the new window to the Selection labeled "Short Date Format." Left click once with your mouse on the drop down menu arrow adjacent to the Short Date Format Command Line. Select the Short Date Format of "MM/dd/yy" from the Drop down list by left clicking on the "MM/dd/yy" selection. Bring your mouse cursor to the bottom of the Window and left click once on the button labeled "Apply" and then left click once on the "OK" button. Close out of the Control Panel Window back to your Desktop.
For Windows ME, 2000 and 2000 Pro:
With no other applications open, from your Desktop window, left click once on Start in the Start Menu. Bring your mouse cursor up to Settings, and then over to Control Panel. From Control Panel select Regional Options. When the Regional Options Window opens, left click with your mouse on the Date Tab along the top of the window. Come down approximately 60% of the new window to the selection labeled "Short Date Format." Left click once with your mouse on the drop down menu arrow adjacent to The Short Date Format Command Line. Select the Short Date Format of "MM/dd/yy" from the drop down List by left clicking on the "MM/dd/yy" selection. Bring your mouse cursor to the bottom of the window and left click once on the button labeled "Apply" and then left click once on the "OK" button. Close out of the Control Panel Window back to your Desktop.
For Windows XP Home or Windows XP Professional
With no other applications open, from your Desktop window, left click once on Start in the Start Menu. Bring your mouse cursor up to Control Panel, and then over to Language and Regional Options. Double left click on Language and Regional Options. Depending upon your Windows XP program settings the window that opens next will have "Pick a Task" or will open with "English United States" highlighted in blue. If "Pick a Task" is displayed then left click on the selection of "Change the format of Dates, Times, and Numbers." If "English United States" is highlighted in blue, left click on the customize button to the right of the blue highlighted "English United States." On the next window that opens, left click on the date tab at the top of the window. On the next window that opens come down about 60% of the window to "Short Date Format." To the right of the white command line, left click the drop down arrow and select the setting of "MM/dd/yy" by left clicking on it. Bring your mouse cursor to the bottom of the window, left click once on the button labeled "Apply" and then left click once on the "OK" button. The preceding window will now be displayed. Left click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window, then left click once on the "OK" button. Close out of the Control Panel Window back to your desktop.
Compatibility setting for Windows XP
With no other applications open, from your desktop window, right click once on the Pool Program Icon. On the drop down menu that appears, come down to Properties and left click once. A V5 Properties window will open. Left click once on the Compatibility tab at the top of the window. Come down the window approximately 20%, a small white box with the words "Run this program in Compatibility Mode For" next to it will be seen. Left click once in the small white box, placing a check mark in the white box. Off to the right of the white command line box, a drop down arrow will appear. Left click once on the drop down arrow and then left click on the selection "Windows 2000." Bring your mouse cursor down to the "Apply" button at the bottom of the window and left click on the "Apply" button. Then place your mouse cursor on the "OK" button and left click once on the "OK" button. This window should automatically close out back to your desktop.
