The short answer is no, this is not a supported use of the Advanced Edition. Upgrading to the Networking Edition is the only way to operate our software on a network. The good news is the upgrade cost is exactly the difference in the prices between the two software editions.
The long answer is no, and for the following reasons. The Network Edition is set up to allow multiple users access to the data. Using the Advanced Edition in such a manner would cause massive corruptions in your data at some future time. The cost of the loss your data can't be less the difference in the price between the two editions, is it?
